A Tri Service Fiji Support Network has been launched to act as a conduit on policy, information and dialogue between the MoD and Fijians serving in the UK Armed Forces. The FSA have responded to requests from midwives to provide information on financial aspects for those who have suffered a late miscarriage or stillbirth, or whose baby has died within four weeks of birth. The FSA have made the information available in one location, it covers what needs to be done for registering birth details and funeral requirements and what, if any, financial assistance is available
The Royal British Legion has been supporting Service families since 1921 but the needs of families change over time. To help the Legion to develop support services that are relevant to modern Armed Forces families, they are undertaking a major research programme and hope you can help
Children of service families are invited to draw a picture of how they see the military world in which you work. The winner will win an all-in prize for up to six of their family with the Victory Services Club. A new service to help bereaved families of Service personnel through the inquest process has been launched by the Royal British Legion. The Independent Inquest Advice provides free, independent and expert legal advice and assistance, from professionally-qualified lawyers, to support bereaved Service families through what can be a confusing and frustrating process at an already difficult and painful time
Prince Michael of Kent has opened a play area at Norton House, Headley Court, for the young children who visit their parents there. SSAFA's Norton House is a home-from-home for servicemen and women with serious and life-changing injuries, allowing them to spend quality time with their families away from the hospital environment. It was the youngsters themselves who requested a play park
