Housing Options when You Leave the Service
The Joint Service Housing Advice Office (JSHAO) offer courses designed primarily for Service Personnel and their families who are shortly to leave the Service and intend to settle in the UK. Others, however, who are considering their civilian housing options, may also attend. Your presence at these courses does not count against your resettlement entitlement
From Now On HIC Lines Will Close at 3pm
As of 1 Jul 10 the telephone lines into the Housing Information Offices (HICs) will close at 3pm each day. This is now a permanent arrangement
Maintenance Should now take Less Time!
MODern Housing Solutions (MHS), the company who maintain the quarters in England and Wales, have reduced their routine response times from 20 days to 15. They hope this will provide better service to customers. The new measure came into effect on 1 Apr so occupants should now begin to notice a difference
New Man Heads up Customer Services at MHS
Jamie McDonald is the new man at Modern Housing Solutions (MHS). He is the Customer Services Director and joined MHS on 1 April. This is a new role at MHS and Jamie is keen to 'place MHS customers at the heart of all he does'. He says he will be challenging and supporting the Operations team whilst driving continuous improvement across the business. Jamie is also responsible for the Customer Helpdesk
