The MoD's Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA) has won two industry awards for its management of JPA. SPVA was viewed by the European judges to 'demonstrate a leading ability to deliver change' and had a 'relentless focus on technological development'. Air Chief Marshal Christopher Moran was taken ill while taking part in a triathlon on the afternoon of Wed 26 May at Brize Norton and died later in hospital. Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, Chief of the Air Staff, said: "It is with great sadness and shock that I announce his untimely death. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family, to whom I offer my most sincere condolences on behalf of the Royal Air Force, serving and retired.
