The AFPRB have published their 2010 Report. It recommends a 2% Pay Rise for the Armed Forces but until the Government make an announcement on the subject it is still not confirmed.. .. The latest advise from the AFPRB team is not to expect an announcement much before the end of February/beginning of March. We will post any additional information we receive...IT IS NOW THOUGHT THE ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE ON TUESDAY 9TH MARCH or Possibly Not!
Three RAF Police dogs have received a special 'Dogs in Action' bravery award for their service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cpl Cliff Cullen said of the youngest dog in the team: "Billy is a two-and-a-half year old English Springer Spaniel, he is a gentle, loving dog. He is a cheeky little boy who will always do something that will either make you laugh or cry, but he is keen to work and produces the goods when asked to."
