A new report has been published by the Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) called ‘A Decade of the Covenant’. It’s a review of the delivery and impact of ten years of the Armed Forces Covenant and can be accessed online.
Contents of A Decade of the Covenant
The report includes several resources for councils and government including an overarching Theory of Change model which sets out how and why the Covenant reduces disadvantage, a basket of indicators to use as a starting point to measure the impact of the Covenant, an updated core infrastructure and toolkit, and case studies of good practice.
Maria Lyle, Director of the RAF Families Federation adds:
“Here at the RAFFF we have pushed on your behalf to get the Armed Forces Covenant into law – which happened recently! There is still more to do, to offer you even better protection against disadvantage. Have a look at this report on the Covenant, which we helped to contribute to, and learn more.”
