Armed Forces Carers Survey

Wednesday 7th June 2023

The MOD invites all carers in the Armed Forces to take part in its Armed Forces Carers Survey.

The aim of the Armed Forces Carers Survey is to highlight the definition of a carer, capture who our carers are and to better understand the challenges and issues faced by carers within the Armed Forces. This will provide evidence of areas where the MOD could better support carers within the Armed Forces.

Definition of a carer

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend, partner or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support and is not those who are looking after children who do not have a disability or life limiting illness.
