As part of the UK leaving the EU, there have been changes to the regulations affecting those moving to and from Europe.
From 1 January 2021, customers regulations for moving household goods to and from Europe changed – including customs procedures for individual countries and returning to the UK.
Agility Logistics, Ministry of Defence contractor, advise RAF families returning to the UK will need to apply for Transfer of Residency with the HMRC in a timely manner. This will enable the return of goods to the UK without incurring taxes.
