RAFA Colour Chaos

Tuesday 4th September 2018

It’s late in the day but if you want to take part in the RAF Wittering Colour Chaos you still can!

Come along and we’ll shower you with colour along the course…you’re guaranteed to look very, very pretty by the time you reach the finish line.

If you can raise some sponsorship money, it won’t cost you a penny to join us. But we know some people find getting sponsored a faff, so there’s an option to ditch the sponsorship and just pay for a ticket instead. Either way, you’ll be helping a good cause. This is a charity event and we’ve got to cover our costs and make money for a good cause. If you want to join us for free, please raise £50 each (or £100 for a whole family).

Kids will love it too. There WILL be colour cannons! They WILL get messy! There’s a free t-shirt for everyone who takes part.

Get your mates or family together and come and play.

What are we raising money for?

These fabulous events are raising funds for the RAF Association’s ‘Storybook Wings’ project. When parents are deployed far away from home, we bring their voices back home to their children at bedtime through recordings of their favourite bedtime story.

You can turn up and register on the day but you will need to bring photo ID for security, as everyone who registered online will have their Eventbrite ticket.

If you want to pay and play instead, adults tickets are £25 and kids up to 15yrs are £10 plus fees. Under 5s are free.

Everyone who pays entry receives a free t-shirt (to get covered in paint) at registration, and a colour chaos medal when they cross the finish line.

Gates open at 12:30, Warm up at 13:45, Event starts at 14:00

5km fun run /walk around the airfield with colour stations located around the route.

Spectators are welcome (a small donation would be welcomed)

Sorry no dogs.

Important: Entry is via Crash Gate 7 on the A47 and NOT the A1 main station entrance.

We look forward to welcoming everyone on the day.
