Employment and training

This section will step you through some of the many employment and training opportunities available. A lot of the training is provided free of charge to the Armed Forces community, often funded.

The Armed Forces Covenant plays a part too

The Covenant overall is about getting a fair deal and removing ‘disadvantage’ from those who Serve in the armed forces, or the Serving family.

In terms of Employment, over 4,000 organisations have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and those signatories have access to a tri-service platform – Forces Families Jobs which is completely free to use. You’ll be able to search and apply for jobs knowing that those advertising are all forces friendly employers.
