How we can help you
The team at the RAF Families Federation provides confidential help and support to both personnel and families in many different ways, and wherever they are in the world.
As well as offering advice, ensuring clients are talking to the right people and asking the right questions, all the evidence gathered (stored on an encrypted database) is used to show up potential ‘themes’ of emerging issues in the Armed Forces. The Families Federation use that anonymised evidence to lobby government for policy changes – all aimed at making life better for the serving community.
Through our case studies we demonstrate how we have helped both personnel and their families, and the ways we can potentially help you:
Health
How we helped an RAF spouse who lost her place on the NHS waiting list due to the Serving family members posting to a different area.
Education

How we helped an RAF family get a School place allocation reviewed following a unique set of circumstances.
Finance
How we helped a Service person with a claim for a TV Licence rebate after paying twice due to a new posting.
Overseas

How we helped a Service person assigned overseas with a vehicle on Personal Contract Purchase.
Overseas
How we helped a spouse claim Job seekers allowance after returning from an overseas assignment.
