We are recruiting, on behalf of RAFA Kidz, a wholly owned subsidiary of the RAF Association, a professional Payroll Officer with relevant experience of submitting real time information (RTI) to HMRC and submitting Pension contributions. This is a new role and reflects the growth in RAFA Kidz and its acquisition of existing nursery settings and the creation of associated additional children’s services such as childcare, out of hours support and childminding. This role would be suited to someone who is currently in a payroll position looking to take the next step.
Key Responsibilities
• Processes company’s payroll every pay period using SAGE 50cloud Payroll – different pay periods are in operation
• Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
• Application of employees tax codes, NI categories and student loans
• Computes employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
• Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
• Report on payroll expenses and establishment
