Forces Families Jobs is a tri-Service website for family members of currently serving UK military personnel to use and it is completely free!  This platform has become a go-to place for training and employment and can be used with confidence knowing that all employers have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, or are able to demonstrate their commitment to the Armed Forces.

This is also a great gateway to accessing training information about learning new or perhaps upgrading your existing skills through forces friendly organisations offering free or discounted courses. All with the knowledge that employers or trainers on FFJs understand the unique challenges that come with being a family member of a serving person.

Create job alerts

As well as being able to upload your CV so that employers can explore for themselves your potential, you can create your own job alert so that when ‘the’ job comes along that you are really after, FFJs will notify you when that job is uploaded onto FFJs. This can particularly be useful if you are on an overseas posting and due to return to the UK and looking to line up your next employment options.

Who can use FFJs

  • Spouses and partners of currently Serving and Reserve personnel, and adult children (aged 18-25).
  • Spouses and partners of Service personnel who have left the Armed Forces within the last 12 months, and adult children (aged 18-25).
  • Bereaved spouses and partners for up to two years post service, and adult children (aged 18-25).

Meet one of the team members behind FFJs

Sarah

Sarah (pictured) is one of the key team members who sits behind the [email protected] email and makes sure that the website remains up, running and working well.  She helps onboard new employers to the site, answers any queries from employers, training providers and families/candidates around signing up, help with navigating the system or anything else that comes up.  She also keeps the content updated with new training courses and the events on the home page, all of which are virtual at the moment.
