Armed Forces Families & Safeguarding is delighted to announce the results from the 2022 MOD Education Support Fund (ESF) bidding round
The MOD Education Support Fund (ESF) is open to publicly funded schools, Academies and Free schools in the UK attended by Service children, where schools are faced with mitigating the effects on those Service children whose parents are subject to frequent mobility/deployment. The latest bidding round closed on 30 September 2021 and results are in.
There was considerable interest in the 2022 bidding round with 114 applications received from across the UK requesting just short of £4 million.
In total, 69 applicants secured funding from the 2022 ESF (22 full, 47 partial) and the funding will directly benefit approximately 16,500 Service children across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
During December 2021, result letters will be circulated to all applicants; all grants will be paid before the end of the current financial year.
