British Forces Post Office’s (BFPO) Track and Trace app will be withdrawn from all online platforms from 30 April 2019.

The decision was made following customer feedback highlighting that the app was no longer providing the most accurate tracking information available on customer mail.

The decision was made following customer feedback highlighting that the app was no longer providing the most accurate tracking information available on customer mail.

The app was created to enable serving personnel’s family and friends to track and trace individual items through the BFPO network on a handheld device, such as a smartphone or tablet.

The dedicated BFPO service desk will assist customers and provide up-to-date tracking information when required. They can be contacted at [email protected] or on 0044345769 7978.

Customers can still track items sent by signed for or special delivery in the usual way using carriers’ websites.

The BFPO information app remains available for both Apple and Android. This app lets customers find BFPO numbers, find which UK retailers post to BFPO addresses and calculate their postage costs.

BFPO takes the welfare of our armed forces extremely seriously and remains committed to ensuring that those deployed on operations can keep in touch with their families and friends.
