Dogs will Paws for Remembrance at National Memorial Arboretum

On 9 February 2020 hundreds of dogs and their owners will take advantage of the opportunity to sniff around the National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire, at its annual Paws for Remembrance event.

The Arboretum’s team of volunteers will be on hand to offer information about the Arboretum and the memorials that can be encountered during the walk, and veterinary staff from the PDSA will be on site to provide free MOT health checks for dogs, free general pet care advice, and a range of pet care items for sale.

Happy Hounds High Street will host a range of diffurent pet related businesses from across the country supplying a wide selection of products and services, including pet portraits, pet clothing, and treats.

The Arboretum’s restaurant and coffee shop will be serving a range of hot meals and snacks cooked with local ingredients. The coffee shop is a dog friendly retreat all year round, however dogs are restricted to the large outdoor seating area of the restaurant.

To register for Paws for Remembrance (recommended £5 donation), please call 01283 245 100 or visit our website.
