Military spouse and author of ‘Patch Life: Army Wives Behind the Wire’, Dr Elizabeth Newman-Earl, is looking to set up a consultation group within the Catterick and RAF Leeming communities to gain feedback on a new social enterprise concept – aimed at providing opportunity and prosperity to communities with links to the military.

Enterprise50K is a social value initiative which will foster employment, enterprise and education across civilian and service families.

Dr Newman-Earl is looking to launch a pilot across the Catterick area seeking to engage with local people to gain feedback and input around how the scheme should run, and how it will create most impact. The virtual ‘town hall’ consultations will take place from 16th Nov and will be looking to seek input from a wider range of people and organisations.
