Call for evidence: Female Veterans’ health and wellbeing

The Veterans and Families Institute for Military Social Research (VFI) have been commissioned by the Confederation of Service Charities (Cobseo), the industry body that coordinates members within the military charity sector, to carry out a scoping exercise of issues impacting female veterans in the UK. Health and wellbeing have been given a particular priority.

The main aim of this calling notice is to seek and use the experience of subject matter experts and stakeholders to confirm the current literature base, identify gaps and systematically identify priorities for future research and activities.

We are calling for evidence to be submitted from anyone working with or carrying out research with female veterans in the UK, in the field of health and/or wellbeing. The responses will be used to complement a systematic scoping review of the literature and subject matter expert interviews, and will be combined into an open access report that will be made available via the Veterans and Families Research hub.

If you are carrying out research with female veterans in the UK in the subject of Health and Wellbeing, please complete the proforma and return by 31 October 2020.
