Friday 23rd December 2022
The RAF Families Federation will finish for the festive season on 23rd December 2022, re-opening on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
If you have an issue or concern over Christmas and the New Year, you can continue to report an issue to us as normal, for us to follow up with you ASAP in January. This includes any issues you may be experiencing with accommodation, where we know sadly there are many people experiencing significant issues with maintenance. A small team will be checking messages for us between Christmas and New Year. Please be aware though that we are not the route for urgent accommodation issues you need help with – if you experience serious problems, contact the National Service Centre (24 hours) on 0800 0318628 Option 1. If you have significant welfare concerns that are not resolved via this route, you should contact your Unit Duty Staff who can progress.
The following helplines and welfare support may also be useful points of contact for any challenges encountered:
- NHS 111 (staffed 24/7) call 111
- Samaritans (free) 116 123 or email [email protected]
- Combat Stress 24 Helpline 0800 138 1619
- SSAFA’s confidential helpline 0800 260 6767
- Domestic abuse – but call 999 if it’s an emergency
