It’s spotlight time on our Office Manager at the RAF Families Federation! If you’ve never met our Scottish queen of organising, meet Ruth McClelland with her quick fire answers to our top 10 questions…

  1. What’s the best part of your job? Telling colleagues what to do.
  2. What cheers you up when outside of work? A good film – ermmmm, so many to choose from. Let’s go Shrek!
  3. Where’s the best place that you’ve lived and why? Lossiemouth – I just love the sea and rugged coastline there.
  4. What’s for dinner tonight? Hubby’s cooking – so probably Chicken Kiev!
  5. Favourite ice cream? Cream of Cornish.
  6. What are you most afraid of? Deep water.
  7. Best book you’ve read? First to Die by James Patterson (and sequals).
  8. Talking or texting? Neither – I prefer listening and watching but if pushed then it’ll be talking.
  9. If you weren’t working for the RAF FF and you could do anything at all for a job, what would it be? Who would want to work anywhere else?
  10. What piece of advice would you offer people? Don’t wait too long – do it when you can.
