The Behavioural Insights Team are looking to speak to families of veterans who have recently left the armed forces in the last 5 years.
What is the research about?
The purpose of this research is to better our understanding of how families experience transition out of the armed services. This will explore any obstacles they face, how they access support and any recommendations they may have.
What is being asked of me?
We would like to interview you for 50 minutes, and can offer you a £30 voucher for a supermarket of your choice. This can be over the phone or in person, whichever you prefer at a time that suits you. This will be audio-recorded. After transcribing and anonymising the data, removing all identifiable information, we will destroy the original recording within 3 months of the project completing. You can request to see the anonymised interview transcript if you wish.
Who is conducting the research?
This research is being conducted by the Behavioural Insights Team, an independent research organisation. This research is funded by Forces in Mind Trust. The researchers who will conducted the interviews are enhanced DBS checked.
What will you do with my data?
All participation will be anonymous and you will be free to withdraw at any point you wish. Your data will not be shared with anyone outside the research team. Your participation in this research will not be linked in any way to your job, and will not be made known to anyone in the armed services.
How do I take part?
Please email [email protected] or text 07917868454.
We will then send your further information and a consent form to sign.
