Graduation of TG Course 1-20

Congratulations go to the 33 members of TG 1-20 Salalah Flight, the newest members of the RAF Regiment to have graduated at RAF Honington today (1 Oct). The trainee gunner graduations continue to take place behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus.

RAF Roadside Rescue

Station personnel were first on the scene to potentially save the life of a passing motorist back in June and today (27 Aug), Mr. Darren Ruck attended the Station to personally thank his life savers.

Tyre flipping Flt Lt Dan Garner

On 10 Apr 20 Flt Lt Dan Garner (38) will attempt to flip a 100kg tyre for over 20km within 24 hours in support of the Cancer Wards at Nottingham University Hospitals Charity.

Amey volunteers refurbish RAF Honington’s community centre

RAF Honington, in Suffolk, is the home of RAF Force Protection who are responsible for protecting the RAF at home and abroad. Over 1,500 Service personnel, civil servants and contractors work at the site so having somewhere to hold events, functions and meetings is an important part of keeping the site operational.
