The Thriving Lives Toolkit interactive platform developed by the SCiP Alliance in partnership with the Office for Students Uni Connect Programme and The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has launched this week.
Free online Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This introductory session is brought to you by the Southern Universities Network, following some collaborative work with the Service Children's Progression (SCiP) Alliance and is open to all staff working in secondary schools nationwide, not just those based in the south of England.
An online CPD series for professionals working with young people from Armed Forces families. LiNCHigher and the SCiP (Service Children's Progression) Alliance are delighted to invite you to attend our online CPD event series for professionals and teachers or school / college staff.
As a Serving family in the Armed Forces, you might be interested in whether your child’s school has an understanding of Armed Forces life and also how they support Service children. In November 2020 the SCiP Alliance launched their Thriving Lives Toolkit giving schools an opportunity to assess their own support systems in place for Service children.
