BBC Radio Solent in collaboration with musician and music producer Jim Cregan and one of pop’s greatest 80’s vocalists Tony Hadley will release an evocative song “Come Home to Peace” to mark the 40th anniversary of the end of the Falklands War.

With supporting voices from the Military Wives Choirs, the song was commissioned as part of BBC Radio Solent’s 10 week commemoration of each stage of the war.

Songwriter Jim Cregan (Rod Stewart’s Music Director) has created the soundtrack as a tribute to the forces returning to their families in the UK. The voice of one of the biggest stars of the 1980s Tony Hadley conveys the strong emotion of the homecoming and reunion.

The Song “Come Home to Peace” will be available for download from 17th June available on all major digital platforms.
