You may remember we recently publicised the Annington Challenge – a 19 day Skills for Life course for 15-19 year old young people from military families which ended up being filled, and some! There are now two spaces available and so if your son/daughter fancies a fantastic experience from 30th July – 17th August in Wales then please read on!
It takes place at the Outward Bound’s centre in Aberdovey in Wales. It’s a tough course for 15-19 year olds but everyone who does it, is changed by it. Participants will go on a breath-taking journey across land and water with the most amazing people by their side. From rowing across lakes and camping in the wild, to lighting fires and building shelters, wilderness challenge will be at the heart of everything they do and we guarantee them a summer they will never forget!
There is a cost but a significantly lower one than what the whole adventure comes to. It costs the participant £399 – Annington Trust pays the remainder £1300.
